Privacy Policy for Receipt Works

Receipt Works is owned and operated by PAC General LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how Receipt Works collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the app.

Receipt Works helps users capture, organize, store, sync, restore, and export transaction records such as receipts, deposits, payments, and attached document images.

• company names 
• company logos 
• project information 
• text extracted from scanned documents 
• account information used for authentication and sign-in
   

We use information collected through Receipt Works to provide the app’s features and services, including:

• organizing and displaying records inside the app
• storing and restoring transaction data 
• syncing user data across devices 
• associating records with companies and projects 
• generating charts, exports, and reports 
• supporting automatic extraction and auto-fill features 
• maintaining account access and cloud backup functionality
   

Receipt Works stores certain information locally on your device so that you can view and manage your records directly within the app.

When you sign in and use cloud-enabled features, certain app data may be uploaded to cloud services used by the app in order to support sync and restore functionality.

This may include:

• transaction images 
• image metadata 
• company names 
• company logos 
• project data 
• related transaction records and fields
   

When you use automatic extraction features, text extracted from a scanned receipt, payment document, or other supported image may be securely transmitted to the app’s processing service to identify details such as:

• vendor or payee 
• amount 
• date 
• masked account-related information
   

This processing is used only to provide automatic extraction and auto-fill features inside Receipt Works.

Receipt Works does not sell personal or sensitive user data.

Information is shared only as needed to provide the app’s core functionality, including authentication, cloud sync, cloud restore, storage, and automatic extraction features.

Receipt Works uses reasonable measures to help protect user data. Information transmitted between the app and connected services is intended to be sent using secure network connections.

Users may edit or delete records inside the app. Deleting records or images may also remove associated stored data, depending on the feature used and sync status.

Users may also request deletion of their account and associated cloud data as described on our Delete Account page.

OCR and automatic extraction features may not always be accurate. Users should review all extracted information before relying on it for accounting, reporting, legal, tax, or financial purposes.

We retain data only as needed to provide app functionality, maintain account-related services, support sync and restore, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Some limited information may be retained temporarily where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or technical backup recovery windows.

Receipt Works is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect feature changes, legal requirements, or service improvements. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
