How far should I hold my phone? 

About 10–12 inches (25–30 cm), roughly a forearm's length. 

Closer than that, the camera can't focus.

Why does the app say my photo is blurry?

It checks every photo before reading it. Tap Retake (camera) or Choose another (gallery), or Use anyway.

How are other currencies handled? 

The currency is detected from the receipt and converted to your base currency (Settings → Currency) with the exchange rate for the receipt's date. You can edit both.

Is my receipt photo sent to an AI service? 

No. If you allow AI reading, only the text read from the receipt is sent, and it's not stored on our server.

How do I cancel my subscription? 

In your App Store or Google Play account settings.

How do I delete my account? 

Settings → Account → Delete Account.

What happens if my subscription ends?

Your records stay available to view and export (PDF or CSV) for 60 days. We email you when it ends and 7 days before deletion. After 60 days, your account and its cloud data are deleted unless you subscribe again. Records saved on your phone are not affected.
